[..summer..]

The smell of humidity, fresh cut grass, and the earth after it rains-- thats what I associate with summer. Maybe even more than being done with school and swimming. It's here. Summer has finally come, and I am on the cusp of reaching out and embracing it with arms wide open.

Friday is my official last day of school before I start my senior year. I just can't wait to be done :) The date of June 13th in my phone has, over the past month, has filled up very quickly. I have inferred that Saturday, June 13th, is the most popular day for graduation parties. I have not one, but FOUR graduation parties to go to this Saturday. It should be fun though, and it may be the last time I see a few of them for a while.

I'm looking forward to when the days all run together and you don't have to get up until 10 am every morning. When you can call your friends and no matter what day it is, they can do something.

I'm convinced that summer is God's gift to humans. It's the rejuvinating season after a long winter. And it's here!
