Saying "Shut Up"

The weekend went well. After drinking a Grande Java Chip Frappiccino from Starbucks on Saturday, I hit the track with Lane. (I'm proud to say that we ran seven laps! Three more till we hit a mile!) Then went to YPCG. It was a good meeting.

Mr. Pierson's sermon yesterday on fear was so good. I struggle with fear alot. Fear accompanied by anxiety...then sometimes guilt... remorse...ultimately depression. But it's good to know I can say "shut up" to it. Just shut up, and move on. God doesn't want us to have fear, because when we do, it's not trusting him. That's my "resolution" for the new year... trusting God more. I am prayerfully anxious to see how He will meet me. So good bye fear and anxiety!

  1. Hey Danie,
I came across a song recently that(knowing me) probably has nothing to do with you situation, but it was comforting to me when I listened to it. I think I'm going through almost the same thing as you, fear, anxiety, and so on...
the song is called "Brave" and it's by Nicole Nordman if you wanted to take a listen to it =D
    Love,
