Graduation

Well, it's official! I am no longer in high school! Though I have been done with school for three weeks, it wasn't until the ceremony that it hit me. I have (WE have) worked for 12 years for this moment and it gave me the butterflies and chilly willies. The blue book in the picture is my diploma and the gold cord is to distinguish the students who graduated with high honors. When Dr. Swan had all of the 2010 graduates stand up and face the audience I looked over at my friend Meghan with a huge smile and said, "We DID IT!" and we both started crying. It was an experience unlike any other that I have felt before. I went with the thought of this being so weird and strange because I was going to meet a bunch of people I didn't know- but was pleasantly shocked when they made all of us feel like an actual graduating class, like one big unit of kids who have known each other forever. What I've been up to

Yes, it has been one and a half months since my last update... and for that, my dear readers, I am ashamed. Well, maybe not ashamed. What can I say? I've been busy! With working about 30 hours a week between three baby sitting jobs and umpiring for softball, there has been school, MY softball games, photography, planning for a seventeen day vacation, a trip to Hershey AND to Texas, planning for another trip to Hershey for commencement, planning for a graduation partyand trying to jam friend time in between. So, I've pretty much been off the radar, but hey... I'm still alive :) There is so much that I want to talk about, but have no idea where to start. I'm afraid my writing will reflect my brain. For example: While umpiring today, my dad came down to the field and I asked him if he could go to the concession stand to get me a drink. I was standing right in front of my water bottle and had totally forgotten about it. I'm overwhelmed, but I at least have some...
